IPS Vacancies for the 2013-2014 School Year

IPS Employment Update as of April 29, 2013

 

FACULTY: International Qualified Educators and/or Qualified Saudi/Local Educators for the 2013-14 school year and an August 22, 2013 start:

  • 1st Grade Classroom Teacher (female educator required)
  • MS/HS Media Studies, Journalism, & Yearbook

Maternity Leave Positions for October or November 2013 start:

  • ESL Teacher (w/ direct experience working with MS/HS students)
  • Arabic Language Teacher (w/ direct experience working with KG/ES students)

SUPPORT: Administration and Support Staff (Saudi/Local) for the 2013-14 school year for August, 2013 start:

  • Administration Office Secretary  (Registrar experience preferred) (maternity leave position)
  • Finance Office Assistant (maternity leave position)
  • Female Janitor (maternity leave position w/ possible permanent assignment)
  • Substitute Teachers for daily ‘on call’ availability

**To be considered candidates must:

  1. Love kids;
  2. Have current certification and/or training with 2+ years of recent experience (preferably international), be able to provide current supervisor contact information, and to have clear police and medical backgrounds;
  3. Understand and apply the elements of creating an effective classroom/workplace and be able to demonstrate application of best practice in learning/teaching/working methodology;
  4. Demonstrate superior technology skills and create innovations in this area;
  5. Desire to be a part of concept based and backwards by design curriculum/institution development with an enthusiastic approach to improving school collaboration and efficiency;
  6. Want to lead co-curricular and athletic programs with students and to actively seek responsibilities outside the regular job assigned; and
  7. Possess a robust sense of humor and copious amounts of patience.

Positions will be posted first on the IPS webpage, then with Search Associations and TIE, and in databases with Queens University and the University of Northern Iowa.  School hiring teams and the Director will interview qualified candidates via Skype/MSN as soon as they are identified.  IPS will attend recruiting conferences during January, February, and March.
